Emergency Dental Treatment
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which for adults is typically a full mouth series to allow for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth. Bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth is included in the full series. Occasionally we may also take a Panoramic X-ray to help make a more definitive diagnosis, especially for third molars (wisdom teeth). At your initial examination we want to know anything we can do to better serve your healthcare needs.
