Dr.Brendan D. Graham
Dr. Graham is a LaSalle County native. Growing up, Brendan attended Grand Ridge Grade School and was a 2003 graduate of Marquette High School in Ottawa, IL.
Dr. Graham completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville in 2006 graduating 'Summa Cum Laude' with a B.S. in Biological Sciences. While a student at SIUE, Brendan was awarded the 'Rising Sophomore Award' and was presented the 'Chancellors Award for Academic Excellence' at graduation.
Dr. Graham graduated 'Cum Laude' from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois in 2010. While a student at SIU-SDM, Brendan was the class representative to the American Student Dental Association (ASDA). As a member of ASDA, he lobbied in Washington, DC to increase access to care for underserved populations. Dr. Graham was also very involved in community outreach, speaking to dozens of schools and eldercare facilities on oral hygiene and the importance of routine dental check-ups. In 2010 he was the recipient of the American College of Dentists 'Outstanding Student Leader Award' for scholastic performance, leadership, ethical and compassionate patient care, and potential to impact the profession of dentistry in the future. Dr. Graham is an active member of organized dentistry having served as 'New Dentist Liason', 'Dent-IL-Pac' representative, and currently as President of the Illinois Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Graham enjoys helping his patients get past their apprehension with dentistry. One of Dr. Graham's favorite parts of his profession is getting to help patients transform their smile! He thoroughly enjoys forming strong relationships with his patients and being able to recognize and visit with them outside of the office. An avid guitar player, Dr. Graham enjoys attending a variety concerts and shows. In his free time, he also enjoys watching baseball, football, golf, and his favorite sport, hockey. Dr. Graham resides in the country south of Ottawa and enjoys his time away from work with his wife Amy, and their children, Emily and Benjamin.

Dr. Peterson is also a LaSalle County native growing up in the small community of Norway, IL. Kelissa graduated from Serena High School in 2011. While growing up, she was active in 4-H: showing dairy cows and pigs at the local fairs, while also playing softball, basketball, and volleyball.
Dr. Peterson attended the University of St. Francis in Joliet, completing her bachelors in Biology. While attending USF, Kelissa was an honors student and was inducted into TriBeta, the National Biological Honor Society during her junior year.
Dr. Peterson graduated from Midwestern University in 2019 with her Doctorate in Dental Medicine. She is currently a proud member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Illinois Valley Dental Society.
“I feel very fortunate to be able to return home to the Illinois Valley to practice dentistry,” Dr. Peterson says, “Being able to come back to the community who supported me as I worked my way through school is very exciting, and I look forward to being able to give back to the LaSalle County area.”
Dr. Peterson is working to become an avid world traveler. In the past, choosing to “travel with a purpose,” having attended mission trips to Bolivia and the Dominican Republic. Her most recent trip to the Dominican Republic resulted in providing dental care to many in the beautiful community of Samana.
When home, Dr. Peterson enjoys spending time with her parents, siblings, and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Whether it be attending games, or supporting her cousins showing their 4-H animals, planning events for “Ben & Flo’s Eleven,” (her family’s Relay for Life team), Dr. Peterson’s community spirit shows through. Hobbies include reading, going to the YMCA, and everything Disney!
Jackie BuchananRegistered Dental Hygienist
Jackie is a 2003 graduate of Illinois Central Colleges Dental Hygiene program. She was a dental assistant for two years prior to returning to school to become a hygienist. She has spent the last 15 years with our team. Prior to entering the dental field, Jackie served our country in the US Army for almost 7 years. Jackie loves joking around with patients to make them feel at ease. She also enjoys providing great cleanings and helping patients understand their oral health!
Jackie currently resides in Marseilles with her husband Rich. She has two adult sons, Ricky and Joshua. Jackie enjoys spending her spare time making home improvements and has successfully resold two homes that she and her husband renovated. She also enjoys gardening and traveling with her husband in their RV!
Janet LarsonRegistered Dental Hygienist
Janet is a 1980 graduate of IVCC with her dental assisting certificate and a 1984 graduate of Parkland College's Dental Hygiene program. She has over 30 years of experience in the dental field here in Streator as a hygienist, and has been with our practice for 12 great years. Janet takes pride in providing outstanding cleanings, patient education, oral hygiene instruction, and making sure your concerns are heard by our dentists. She is a member of the ADHA, past president and treasurer of the Illinois Valley Dental Hygienists Society, and a member of the Cornell United Methodist Church.
She and her husband, Daryl, have two sons Brandon and Brett, and two grandchildren, Parker and Trevor. She enjoys spending free time walking, reading, baking, and spending time with her family.
Jane KochisDental Assistant
Jane is a 1976 graduate of IVCC with her Dental Assistant certificate. She has spent the past 42 years as a dental assistant and has been with our practice since 1995. She has also taken additional classes to be certified to polish fillings, teeth, and place dental sealants.
She and her husband Randy have two sons who are gainfully employed and working in Chicago. She spends her free time gardening, crafting, playing with her dog Gunner. She enjoys spending time with family and friends at the many wonderful establishments in the area.
Jennifer MuntzRegistered Dental Hygienist
Jenny was born and raised in Streator. She graduated from Southern Illinois University (Carbondale) with her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene in 2015. She is certified in local anesthetic administration, CPR, and enjoys taking continuing education courses. Jenny joined our team in 2014 as a dental assistant and after graduating SIUC she returned to our practice as one of our dental hygienists. Jenny resides in Streator with her husband, Nathan. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and hunting.

Tracie EliasDental Assistant
Tracie is a 1988 graduate of IVCC with her dental assisting certificate. She has 20 years of dental assisting experience in Streator, along with many years of medical office secretarial experience. She has been with our practice since August of 2019 and enjoys chairside assisting and making patients feel welcome and cared for!
Tracie and her husband Mike have two sons, Hunter and Luke. She enjoys being with family, watching the Streator High School Band, going to the movie theater, baking, walking, scrapbooking, reading self-development books, and life coaching.

Deana was born and raised in Ottawa, IL. She Graduated from Ottawa High School and attended IVCC. She has worked in the dental field for over 15 years as a Dental Technician, Dental Assistant, and Office Assistant. Deana chose to work in the dental field because she remembers how happy and confident she felt as a teen once her teeth were corrected by orthodontics.
She has been married for 12 years and resides in Ottawa with her husband. When she’s not at work she enjoys gardening and getting her hands dirty planting new flowers and perennials in her landscaping! She also loves playing golf with her husband, hiking the trails with her niece at Starved Rock & Matthiessen Parks, attending fundraisers for special needs children and rescue animals, and hanging out on her patio with friends and neighbors cooking out.
She’s happy to be a new member of the Streator Family Dental Team and is excited to get to know the faces of all the patients coming through the door.
